Ziggy Stardust Yamamoto Woodland Creatures Collection

The Leather hand-painted "Woodland Creature" playsuit made by Kansai Yamamoto and worn by David Bowie throughout the '72 and '73 tours is one of the rock legend's most iconic looks (and he's had many.) The winged rabbit creatures are said in Japanese culture to live on the moon. Very appropriate for the man who wrote "Space Oddity."

This costume was first worn at the Rainbow shows in London of August 1972, and, a duplicate was later produced, which Kate Moss wore it to the 2014 Brit Awards to accept the Best Male solo artist on Bowie’s behalf.
